Hi all. I rock a 2018 forester 2.5i touring. I just looked under the front end and noticed that the front jack point (to lift both front tires) is obstructed by the primative racing front skid plate. Can you guys confirm that? Which means I would need to remove the front skid plate before I can jack up the car with both front tires lifted?

If the jack point is under the skid plate you can still use it. Mark the skid plate where the jack point is. Then I’m wondering if you need to lift both wheels say for maintenance you’d remove the plate to work on it anyway? Yes?

Now you, very gone and added to my to do list,,,put my skids back on. I am thinking that a wood shim would be the thing to take up the slop between the two. I will let you kno.
