Anybody come across this problem yet?

- Power Lock Switch won't "UNLOCK", but locks...

- Everything else on this switch worked (And I even tried a new switch)
- Passenger Door works perfectly

Something in the wiring is loose?

If you replaced the switch & it doesn't work, my guess is a wiring issue or the door lock actuator motor could be defective.

Thanks!

And yes I replaced the power switch module and the same problem.

I'm going to try and figure out what wire is messed up and go at it.

I'm Lucky I found a twin of my Forrester L . . . I can take any part I need from it.

If it's not wiring, it could be the door lock actuator motor linkage is worn or binding.

Does it come as a part of the door handle/lock combo?

Will I pop out the old one and put in one from the other car?
Or do I need to take off the whole door panel.

I have the same issue with my 2000 S, I haven't tried to figure it out yet. Interestingly it was from St. John's originally.

I don't think it's part of the door panel, but once you get into the door, you should be able to tell how it goes together.
