So, yesterday I was driving my forester (2002 L with 138k) around town when it just started to lose power. That is the only way I can describe it. The tranny began to shift very hard as well. I drove it to work today and was able to go about 80mph at some points without anything abnormal happening, but it took what seemed like forever to get up to 80. I have to give it about 1/2 throttle to get any decent acceleration. It almost feels like the car is being held back. Oh, and this winter I installed 4 new wheel bearings and braking/ suspension components all around. It has new plugs, wires, air filter, motor oil, tranny fluid/filter, coolant (with the subaru conditioner), and front o2 sensor. I was thinking it could be a clogged cat? Any help is appreciated.
