Pandora App greyed out

I replied to an old post and didn't get any response so thought I'd try starting over.

The Pandora APP in my 2018 2.5 forester is greyed out.

I connect the phone through the USB port and I have tried a different cord with no luck.

The APP worked a couple of times when I first started to use it.

I realize you can use bluetooth audio but I do not want to go that route.

Aanyone have any suggestions??
