Now that we're all up and running again (thanks computer guys), I hope you can help me with this one.

Friends 05 SF XS with AT keeps popping up P2097...Post Catalyst Fuel Trim Bank 1 System Too Rich.

What could be causing this code? Second O2 sensor? Cat converter itself? Is she covered by her warrantee for sensors and/or converter??? She only has 15 K on the clock.

Thanks in advance

Front A/F sensor, possible harness issue.

Both are covered 3/36.

The emissions items are the catalysts and ECM only and are covered 8/80. The A/F sensors are considered to be wear items. Toyota specs replacement every 60k (or at least they used to)

Anyway, chances are a new front A/F sensor will fix it.

Call your dealer and setup an appointment to have it properly diagnosed.

Thanks for the reply guys. I talked to her again and she told me that she just had it tuned up by the dealer about a month ago. They listed injector cleaning. Think this is related to O2 sensor kicking the bucket so early???

Thanks again
