Hello,

I have a 2014 forester 2.5i Manual transmission [ no turbo] and I received a check engine light with the following codes:

P2004 [Intake Manf Runner Control Stuck Open bank1 a]
P2007 [Intake Manf Runner Control Stuck Closed bank2 a]

I tried searching for parts/videos but haven't found anything for my model, the parts that I find are
somewhat different [ to my understanding].

Has anyone had similar issues or an idea on what it can be?

Ended up taking it to the dealer, the parts were covered under warranty. I'll list the parts below just in case anyone else gets this exact issue.

How is it that the parts were cover under warranty? Do you have extended warranty or these parts are covered more than 36000 or 60000 miles?

I have an extended warranty, but the guy I spoke to said that it was covered under some emissions law, I can't remember the name of it. Everything was covered.

Sounded a bit weird to me also, but when he said I wouldn't have to pay anything I went all in.

I think there's an 8-year warranty on certain emissions components...federal mandate or something.

I don't have extended warranty. Hopefully I will never need those parts. If I do, then I hope mine will be covered under emission warranty. Thanks for sharing.
