I recently replaced a blown motor (2.5)on my 04 "s". Because the motor was seized I had to pull the Tc with the motor, got the new motor in ran great for 200 miles then stopped moving, engine ran fine,,, didnt drive the trans... pulled it apart today hoping the circlip being kinda mangled had failed.... turns out the sleeve immediately outside the main input shaft had snapped near the end... I can get ahold of the piece still in the trans with my long needle nose but it isn't budging.. cannot extract it.... if anyone has any suggestions or advice on this... please help.. is there some clip holding it or do I need to take out the front differential or replace it even...
