I ran across an odd little mod for suspension geometry that appears to correct/help the suspension geometry in forester and other impreza lowered cars. I've got a little discussion thread going on over at Nabisco now.

Why not just change out to STI aluminum control arms at the same time as you are installing struts/springs or coilovers for the STI on the Forester. That would be the first place to start. And even new the 2004 USDM STI control arms aren't too pricey for what you get. I'm just not sure how much benefit you would get unless you are really looking to make the car really low, which would, IMHO make it a track only car.

I say this but I'll probably be towards the front of the line to try them out when they are more easily available.
