My 1999 S model started a slow oil leak last week (I'm the original owner and it has 122k miles). I crawled under the car and could see some oil around the oil filter but not much else.
Took it in to a local Japanese Auto Service shop and it turns out that the oil pan seal & the oil cooler seal was leaking. Got them resealed and things seem okay now.
I'm a longtime lurker and wanted to say 'thanks' to the SubaruForester.org community for all of the helpful info. :bananapowerslide:
