Hi all

After an annoying missfire on a damp and foggy morning I dove in and pulled out my spark plugs and leads ( my best guess )......well...dove in and pulled out air collectors washer reservoir leads and plug( there buried deep aint they )
Anyhow....Got engine oil in my plug wells........
Just searched and found out about the oil seals in another thread :icon_razz:but it was about an EJ25 and I am an EJ202....
Any marked differences in procedure or is it basically the same???

Ta Jules

just try nipping up your cam covers first.

there are o ring type gaskets that sit around the spark plug enclosure, they come as part of the cam cover gasket kit.

I had to change mine because i had oil dripping onto the exhaust.

Thanks guys...
Not sure the covers need nipping as there is no trace of a leak around the perimeter gasket , its just the plug well ones but I will see if a nip is possible in the short term....

Indeed Don, that was the very thread I had seen but the other two links are new to me....I guess from the absence of..... "No it's completely different".... that I know which direction I'm traveling in.....:icon_biggrin:
