Hi there, I have the Forester a few weeks now (1999 S Turbo), and as it has a radio/cassette I was going to replace it with a CD tuner, but the radio has "4x35W CD Control", or something similar, written on the cassette spring loaded cover flap. The unit is a Philips, with a detachable security panel. According to some car hifi sites, the Forester came with a Philips DC632 as standard, and this can connect to a CD changer. Do I need pins to release the radio to pull it out and find the model number? (There's no model number written on the outside, it has Subaru badging). I also looked in the car last night just in case I had a CD changer all along! No such luck. I believe they are normally put under the passenger seat?
