Hi all,

Narrowed down the bike rack I'm going to get to a Thule 954 - which seems to need a minimum of a Class II hitch. I'm going to get the OEM hitch (please don't flame me - I like the way it looks and I'm not mechanically inclined). So the question I have is - does anyone know what the OEM hitch class is?

Cheers - Steve

You can save a couple of hundred by going with U-Haul which is almost identical to OEM. My dealer actually recommended the UHaul hitch down the road 2 blocks from them. Your choice though. I am more than pleased with mine

I've also been thinking of a hitch, and also thinking of the U-Haul option. But the OEM is integral to the bumper, right, whereas the U-Haul rides beneath? Does the height difference amount to much (e.g. clearance) or is it "just" cosmetic?

Any pictures out there of 09/10 Foresters with the U-Haul hitch aboard?
