03 Forester
replaced ECT Sensor
Replaced radiator
Started throwing P0483
Replaced Thermostat
No more P0483
THEN
starting overheating quickly
NOT leaking fluid
ran it with the cap off and nothing odd
When it starts to overheat i flip on the A/C and the fans kick on for about 30 seconds and then cut out
Thought? ( i am wondering if it is the fan relay? If so how do i test it)
Thank you for your help in advance
With the 2003 and earlier you always need to be concerned about the head gaskets. Is the lower radiator hose hot or cold when the engine is hot? If cold it indicates coolant not circulating (clog or bad water pump)
