Occasionally no power at center console on start up, okay if I restart?

I have kind of a weird problem with my 2009 Forester w/~ 50K miles. Over the last year when I start the car occasionally the center console has no power so the audio pack, the AC controls, and then garage door buttons on the rearview mirror don't work. If I stop and turn off and restart the vehicle power comes on and everything seems fine. Has anybody else experienced a similar issue? I don't have an electrical diagram so not sure what control the power that fails to come on.
