On my new up-pipe, the o2 sensor doesn't have a seat for it to sit into like the stock unit. It wants to slide all the way in after the nut is fitted. Is there another o2 sensor that works? Or do I have to get rid of it?

That's odd. They are usually all the same size. What Uppipe did you get?

Megan. According to the seller. Is my stock sensor broke, thus doing that? The bolt pattern was perfect.

Might be. If the threads fit youshoukd be good. The sensor is fixed to the threads like a sparkplug sort of. If it tightens and slides in its broke.

TGV you mean? EGT to me means Exhaust Gas Temperature. I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Possibly TGV. I don't really know what any of the abbreviations mean.

Doesn't seem related either way. Any how, the sensor should be one solid piece.
