Looking to do my first home based oil change.
There is a flat-bottomed black pan about one foot square about 4 feet back from the front of car, and another curved black pan - looks like the bottom of a doughnut, about 29 inches back from the front of the car. Each has a 14mm hex bolt. I think the front one is the oil drain, and the rear one is possibly the transmission drain. But - I've seen comments on this site describing an access plate that is inscribed with "oil drain" that needs to be removed to get access to the oil drain plug. I can't find such a plate on my car, and don't want to drain the wrong fluid. The forward plug is just rear of a sheet metal shield/deflector-like ridge that projects down about an inch.
Which is the real oil drain plug??
Thanks
