Afternoon all, from a very grey Harrogate, North Yorkshire (UK).

Bought myself a Forester 2.0 XT Turbo this morning, and have finally moved on from owning Audi's and VW's for many years.

Now I've got the turbo I'm looking forwards to havign a smile on my face even though I'm paying a fortune more for petrol!! At least I know I've 4 wheel drive and a demon under the bonnet compared to my old motors.

As a newbie, what should I be looking out for? My new wheels are a 53 reg with 85k miles on the clock. It has had its timing belt changed at 60000k, and a full Subaru service history.

I know nothing about these cars apart from the evocative boxer engine burble, which was what drew me to it in the first place. Any tips as a complete newbie would be brilliant - I'm looking forwards to a summers worth of off-roading, driving slightly faster than normal, and manic grinning!!

Thanks
Simon

:woohoo:
