Just bought a 2004 forester with 73k miles on it at a local Toyota dealer. The dealers work order said the drive belts and "a pulley" were replaced due to a squealing belt. No noise on the test drive. After being parked in the cold, and making a sharp turn backing out of a parking space, there a loud belt squeal for 3-5 seconds. Any help is appreciated. Also, when should the timing belt be done?
Thanks

Timing belt 106K.

I would suspect that the power steering belt is the one squeaking, due to it happening at/during a sharp turn. Might be as simple as checking the tension on the belt and adjusting it if needed.

Both our '08s this year needed the belts retensioned as they were developing a slight squeak.
