Among the biggest change for the new Legacy is that a turbocharged engine is available for the first time since 2012. The XT trims of the sedan get Subie's 2.4-liter turbo flat-four engine, and the mill makes the same 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet as the powerplant's application in the Ascent. A CVT is the only gearbox choice. The company predicts that the sprint to 60 miles requires 6.1 seconds, and fuel economy should be 24 miles per gallon city and 32 mpg highway.

Pretty sedate looking, but I love them changing the direction a bit with the legacy and giving it a proper engine. Hopefully the trim doesn't add a 5k premium compared to the lesser engine's equivalent trim.

Will be interesting when the Outback is revealed at the New York Auto show as far as 0 to 60 and mpg.
