Hello all I just bought my first Subaru. Its a 05 Forester EJ25 with the 5MT. Iv always loved wagons and the Forester seamed to tick all the boxes on my list. I have a bad habit of modifying everything I get ahold of. Drives my wife nuts. Anyway I am looking to do a few thing to my forester I have already bought a 35mm lift. I haven't installed it yet. I have the spacers but was wondering if I need trailing arm spacers as well. its a small lift so I'm not sure. I have already had to pull the engine to replace the throw out bearing. honestly a fun job compared to others iv done. Other mods iv done are small ones radio, shift knob, 5 point harness, steering wheel rap in 550 paracord, air horn with onboard compressor and charging ports in the heated seat switch holes [mine didn't have heated seats] . Any known problems or upgrades to do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Welcome! Now that you have a new toy to tinker with (my journal reveals my own tinkering obsession), your wife might get a reprieve on the car she drives?

"Honey really, we need this 3ft rear wing..it's a safety issue."

Biggest 2 things to do is insure the head gaskets are not leaking. You have a far greater than average chance of needing them. The other is the timing belt, 3 idlers, tensioner and water pump. Welcome!!

Rear wheel bearings, alternators, also the idler pulley for the A/C
