New-to-me ‘05 X, what should I have done?

I’m a first time owner, long time dreamer. Just bought an ‘05 X. My dream car. It’s clean and has 135 on the odo.

The mother in law owns an auto shop and only charges me for parts. No labor. She’s selling the shop soon so I’d better have as much work done now while I can have it done so cheaply.

What should I have done? I’m having the timing belt, headgaskets, and a tune up done. Is there anything else I should do preemptively?

Are there any small parts/gaskets that are often missed in an engine job that I should have them replace while the heads are off?

Should I have them service the tranny? Bearings? Axels?

What would you have done/checked?

Thanks!

Check the Oil Separator plate for leaks while the engine is out

If you have a solid aluminum one make sure it's resealed.

Rear wheel bearings are a known issue, especially the right side. May as well change it while you can do it cheap.

Check the CV Axle boots for any that are cracked or soon to be an issue. Best option is to use Subaru OEM ones instead of cheap Chinese junk.
