Hello everyone!

I finally pooled a plug on my scion TC and upgraded to a Subaru
I've been wanting to get a subie for the longest time. Every time when going to Mammoth snowboarding had to get a rental.... not any more :icon_wink:

Forester is everything that I wanted. Its quick, roomy and AWD.

I did some cosmetic mods, here are some picks.

Picasa Web Albums - DronSim - SUBARU Forest...

Anyways, thank you guys for this forum :)

Welcome to the forum and may the Travelocity gnome take you every where safely. Lots of snowboarders here, so once the season starts there are lots of posts in the Off Topic forum, you may be surprised to find somebody else from here going boarding at the same place and time. You can also add your vehicle info to your Signature so it shows every time you post. Just go into your User Cp, Edit Signature and add the info, usually year/model/transmission, it helps speed up model specific responses. More and more info being added to the forum with the newest generation of Forester. Enjoy:banana:

Welcome...but a couple problems right off....!

First.. brand new Forester and you take it on dirt road.

Second.. but big, big, problem...is that your GF or wife sitting in the driver's seat?

Thank you for welcoming me :)

I’m excited to be a part of the Subaru community.

Pictures that I took are form a day trip in the Santa Barbara Mountains. There is a nice off road trail thought the backcountry. Nothing too extreme :)

Also thank you for telling me about the signature… I think its working now.

I did give my wifee a shot at the wheel... She did well :icon_biggrin:

If you guys have any other suggestions or recommendations let me know.

I hope there will be a Subie. Forester meet organized in Southern Cal. one day… But it’s a subject for a different post, which I’m gona check out next :)

Thanks again guys,
