my exhaust has started sounding a little different. like a little "putter" sound. sometimes especially noticeable when I turn it off, but not limited to that. meaning, it sounds like this when I warm it up in the morning. it doesn't change after it's warmed up but that's the only time it's running when I'm not in it. it didn't use to sound like this. this has nothing to do with the colder temps now, I noticed the sound on other occasions before when it was warmer.

this sound change familiar to anyone? should I mention it to the dealer when I bring it in for an oil change tomorrow?

Try putting a higher octane when you fill up next time. Could be the winter blend. Unless you have a check engine light on I wouldn't worry though.

Mine has done this since I have bought it, I just figured it was the PZEV stuff doing its job. I have almost 40k on the car with no problems. I hope this gives you some comfort.
