Hey guys I'm from Illinois and got my 2nd Subaru the other day. First one was a fwd svx. This is a 99 forester that I think has some stuff done to it. First off it's on coilovers which are set way to low, downpipe is about a inch from ground, driving it home after getting it I hit a bump and everything got super shakey until I slowed down and sped back up. Got home and went to pull into garage and I heard clicking coming from the front passenger tire area. I'm thinking it may have popped a cv axle out. Ordered new ones get to put them in tomorrow. And lift it back up a bit for winter. I'm going to try to measure either 2 or 4 inches down on the coilovers to get it up to a safely drivable height.

Welcome!

I hope you got a good deal on it, because it sounds like there's a bit of work ahead for you.

Ya I got it on a trade for a Ford Taurus and idk if there is a lot to do it just needs some love I ripped all the sticker bomb crap off of it already. It is also a factory 5 speed which I didn't even know existed in these. Car came from Arkansas so rust is minimal, pretty much just a catch up on maintenance

The attachment includes a much info as I know and previous owner knew about car
