We are from Texas but currently living in Vegas. This is our '19 sport forester. We traded my wife's bmw x3 in on it. We love everything about it except the hp it's a dog compared to the old X3.

Welcome to the forum. I agree with your concern regarding power this is the main drawback. Beyond that, I find it a perfect family car.

As for Las Vegas, I was shocked at how much I liked the area. I went to a conference in LV a few years back and couldn’t wait to go back. While I visited the casinos, the big draw was the parks in the area. I was amazed with Valley of Fire, north of town. I have been there 3 times in 2 visits to the area. I can’t wait to get back.

Where were your pictures taken?

We love vegas, we both are avid mountain bike riders so being only a few hrs from big bear California is awesome! We have seen some beautiful sites out west so far.

The first pic was taken outside of death valley national park, the 2nd was in Yosemite national park.

The X3 is a great vehicle. If something happened to my '18XT it would be the X1 for sure...no question.

The bmw was an ok car new...but it was very expensive to maintain and started to have those weird "german" problems LOL

Had a few cosmetic issues as well, that imo should never happen to a "luxury" SUV.

Hey, I'm a new guy too! I love how the tires look. What are they? And are they loud? Nice looking car!

If you liked the Valley of the Fire, then you will probably also like Red Rock Canyon and Mt. Charleston. Check 'em out!

Car has a 2" lp adventure lift. Wheels are 17" methods with 225/65/17 bfg all terrains. Yes they are louder than stock tires.

I haven’t seen Mt. Charleston. I will check it out the next time i can find an excuse to make it to the area.

I have seen red rock and thought it was great before I saw valley of fire.
