Hi everybody,

I just picked up a 2002 Forester today and look forward to the fun we'll be having with it for the next several years.

It has 97K miles, automatic and is the L model so I believe, no LSD. Oh well, I think it will do its duties just fine.

I want to lift it when it is time for new tires. I have a set of 235/75R16's that are almost new, but I think even with a 2 inch lift those may be too big. I will be looking at all of your own Foresters for inspiration.

Thanks,

Eric

Hi from Montana. Being at 97000 mile you will want to start thinking about a new timing belt, water pump and timing belt sprockets and idlers. 105000 miles is the magic number and you really don't want to chance skipping this. Any way congrats on the new Forester.

Thanks everyone.

I actually live in Providence so I guess I better get over to Haven Brothers soon!
