Right picked foz up a couple of days ago and hoping for some pointers on a couple of random bits already fitted.

First is simple switch, attached in the pictures. Assume this is a heated front screen switch? Does that mean it has a winter pack of some sort?

Second is of a random module under the steering coloum and the last is on the front windscreen.

Is there anyway to brighten up the dash, unless I'm being blind I can't see a brightness toggle/roller switch.

Got to love an import.

I would think the first is more heated front windscreen wipers - look for the elements in the screen where the wiper blades park. So more than likely winter pack which, in theory, can be verified from the VIN and option pack.

The second is an Infrared motion sensor so probably part of an alarm system.

The third just a mount for something Japanese. :wink2:

Cheers Don, do you know what was a part of the winter pack?

That 3rd pic has an electrical feed from the other side sorry should have mentioned that.

Take it you haven't found the flare yet? lol
Passenger foot well under the glove box to the left.
@Stevie1982 the switch is the rear heated windscreen and the front headed windscreen switch is on the centre console activated by pushing in one of the turn dials ...Erm no I think it's the other way round lol.

Defo the second pic is shock sensor for the alarm as @don1952 said but lord knows what that other device thingy is. Looks like an LED node of some sort...Good luck.

Possibly the mount for an ETC device (Japanese Toll payment card)

Heated front wiper parking area, heated mirrors, and rear fog light.

Doesn't that switch also do the heated wing mirrors or is that with the rear heated screen switch, I never can remember ?

I found it very useful to pick up an owners manual from ebay for a same year UK XT as it has pretty much all of the features you're asking about described.

I'm currently hunting one for an MY05 STI myself (for the spec C), but not seen one yet.

New one for you. What PCD is my facelift Foz STi. Its on an 05 plate but is a facelift. I assumed it was 114.3 being a newage car but I've read that they were all based on 04 sti underpinnings so the PCD is actually 100

Can someone please confirm for me, thanks

+1 on this, I haven't seen anywhere that confirms the FSTIs had anything other than a 5x100 PCD. Which is a shame as it does restrict FSTI owners from some very nice aftermarket alloy wheels.

Cheers Don, I just assumed being a newage car it had the later PCD fitment. It was only when I read a post stating otherwise I thought it best to check before making buying a replacement set.

Thanks for the advice
