My 99 SF5 model S needs to have the cat replaced. Is there an aftermarket cat that anyone can recommend? I'd like to replace it w/a high flow cat even though it really won't increase performance but I'm not sure that the reduced back pressure will cause a problem.

NY has adopted the CA restrictions so it does limit aftermarket selection. Since I need a replacement as soon as possible since I need this on my daily driver. I found a replacement that is legal in NY on Ebay for $181 w/free shipping; don't know about quality but it's for a 99 Forester so who knows how long the car will last.
