I'm planning some changes to my new XT as soon as I get my tax return! The first thing is going to be an alarm with remote start since I now have to do it the cold way in the morning.
Then as soon as it warms up, I'm going to get new wheels. I'll keep the stock wheels for the winter, but the rest of the year I want something non-stock and totally better looking. I want to keep it around $120 or so per wheel, and I do like Konig as a brand. So, I want something that everyone else doesn't have and that looks good. Which one of these 3?

First, I was thinking something that's black, or mostly black would be kind of "bad-***" since my XT is black, but then I run the risk of having it look like steelies that I never took off from the winter since back is kind of hard to see in certain light. Definitely not flat black though. Someone here just posted pics of a black '09 (I think it was) with an '07 or '08 blue Forester. They were great pics, but then I saw some of the comments that people weren't all down with the all black thing and the wheels were hard to see. So here's choice number 1, Konig Illusion. I like the grove in the spokes that adds some interest.

Here's number 2, Konig Zer0-in. I like these because they have the machined look(sort of shiny), some flat black, but not to much. I also thought the red stripe was cool since I have some red stickers like my SUBARUFORESTER.ORG sticker for the back window. I didn't want to much red or just all black wheels with a red stripe since I don't want to look like the A-TEAM!

Here's number 3, Konig Fullcount. I think these are cool since they have shiny machined spokes and that would look better with the chrome door handles I was thinking. Plus, they have the black spokes and that's pretty cool.

btw, what wheel + tire info am i looking for? i plan to have a summer wheel blingage also. :p

i got a 2010 stock. i believe here are my infos:

from cars101: 2010 all with tire pressure monitoring || M&S 225/55 R17 95H || 17x7" alloy. Offset 48 (1.89), PCD 100mm (3.94)

i got spark silver so i think im going with black rims or anything that would contrast nicely to a silver body.

im a noob! i dont know what or where to look for. pls help out a a willing-to-learn noob! also, do i have to do the 'install' at my dealership since, i assume, TPMS will be affected? i dont know.... im lost! waaaaaaaaahhhh!!!

ive had konigs and still do, but im not a fan of either of those wheels. check out drag wheels, they make some nice cheap options.

bleh to just about any konigs, not that they're bad in quality and not because i'm a wheel snob, hell i roll on 5zigens, rotas and mb's

but moreso because the majority of wheels they make are overly "fashionable" and are made for the younger masses (like the 17 year old kids that buy import tuner) , and all of those wheels look highly dated in a short period of time.

then you have a wheel that has no re-sell appeal.

there are plenty of wheel brands and styles that are very similar in price that are better options

i'd rather buy any of these
http://axiswheels.com/wheels

or these
http://www.rotawheels.com/wheelcatalog.asp

or
http://www.importimageracing.com/p/ALT-SF601-master.html

or these which are killer wheels and a great price!
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1928302

or these
http://www.enkei.com/race_tuning.html

any of those would be better even if you had to shell out alittle more and wait alittle longer

If you like Konig I'd say go for a set of Runaways in the "Shadow Black" color. fourortwowheels had a set on his black Foz (one of the sets he refers to above) and I thought they looked really good. The rim is actually silver but the inside of the spokes are painted black, so it's an overall darker look without the concern of looking like a steelie.

Pics here:

Of the choices above I'd probably go with #2, then #1. #3 is pretty awful, IMO.

I think #2 may look okay. Tirerack has a "view it on your car" feature, post pictures of that to see what it'd look like.

Did you look at Rotas at all? Plenty of them used for sale. Beantown has a nice set of T3s that I would consider for you.
Thanks, but I sort of wanted to get a whole wheel and tire package where the tires are mounted and have the tpms in them already.
I'm not a big fan of the Konig Runaways just because I think they have to many spokes for me. I think I'm going to scrap all those in my post and take a few bits from a couple different people here.

yerrow sent some links that had some nice five spoke design and I like the simplicity of that because it's classic and really will never go out of style.

fourortwowheels had mentioned some Drag wheels and they do have some nice looking ones.

So these are the ones I'm considering now:
