so i had the bright idea that i was going to paint my badge from the grill black.

i completely botched removing the badge from the surround(deep scratch in the back) as well as removing all the chrome on the inside.

long story short i need a new emblem.

problem is that no one seems to sell either and aftermarket or OEM emblem for the new forester. the new one is much bigger than the old emblem.

any ideas?

i checked that as well, i am really hoping there is some after market version out there...

not sure if you got this done or not?

i am looking to do the same on my black 2010 forester. From what i found Budd's Subaru will get it done for you. it requires them to order new emblems and paint these new emblems. They do the install.

its not expensive to get that done at budds subaru.
