Need help on 2003 subaru forester mods

Hi guys I'm new to this forum I've got a 2003 subaru forester x I have done some work to. I would like to lower it and make it go fast even tho its non turbo. My first issue is I cant find affordable coilovers for my car. My second issue is the engine. I have heard rumors that my engine which I believe is an (Ej25) please correct if I'm wrong. But the rumor is that the motor isn't reliable for a lot of power like 300hp-400hp. I am having trouble finding this info. Thank you all very much any input would be greatly appreciated!! Here is my car if I can attach it right. Only pic I got rn plus my dog!
