I'd like to be able to put the name of a friend in the navigation system and it would know the location. For example, say that Bill lives at 206 Valley Street in Cambridge, MA. I would like the name "Bill" to be how the system searches for the location. I hope that makes sense.

I save favorite locations with my Garmin GPS with a name, all the time. So much better than every built in GPS I've seen. Lifetime free map updates too.

But then, when traveling I also use Waze with Car Play.

In the 2018 you would enter Bill into the address book. I'm not in my car right now, maybe it's called favourites or something. But that's how you do it. I don't know about the 2019.

@meso123 Enter the address, save it as a favorite, then rename it to Bill. It's pretty easy.
