I have a 2018 Forester XT Limited with nav and EyeSight. The stereo is the Harman Kardon. Usually I play audio from a phone plugged into the USB. When the nav voice comes on, the music is paused while the voice is talking, and then the music continues where it left off. However when I'm listening to an audiobook (stored on the iPhone plugged into the USB), the audiobook just decreases in volume while the nav voice talks, and then when the nav voice finishes, the audiobook volume returns to where it was set. So every time the nav voice talks, I lose a sentence or two of the audiobook and I have to back it up.
Why doesn't the stereo just pause the audiobook the same way it pauses the music?
