Pretty sweet kit. superchargers are a lot of fun. Instant power and a cool sound.

Pretty good numbers too.

Oooohh. Soon you can have a boosted 09+ Forester with 5MT!

Ooh I see it now. Damn but $3900 = roughly $3800 USD ugh that's about the price of a swap to a EJ257, minus the harness work. well i should be more correct, no harness, turbo, injectors, or IC.

I'd be a little hesitant to bolt on a blower without reducing the compression ratio of the cylinders a bit.

Still great that its being offerd, though.

Superchargers are pretty cool. I had a supercharged 1991 Civic. Made a whopping 160hp, which is a lot better than the 108 it was stock. It really added some since lowend grunt.

What is the compression ratio on a 2.5 n/a?
My only hang up with a supercharger and a 4 cylinder is that it takes power to make power. I also would worry about compression if the 2.5 n/a is 10-1 or something like that.

I think it's 11.5:1? Nevermind it's 10:1 for 2000+ and 9.7:1 for pre-2000. 2006+ EJ253 might have been higher at around 10.5:1.

Agreed, our N/A motors have to much compression for this I believe.

A good S/C kit won't have problems with the high compression. Jackson Racing used to sell S/C kits for Hondas that were pushing 10.5:1 without any reliability issues.
