Coops recent post about wiring got my memory jogged.

Underneath my standard Subaru Forester 'armrest' seat, I have a 'male' connector under the driver's side that is disconnected. I cannot find where it should connect into though? No apparent female 'host'..(!)

I haven't yet checked the passenger side and - sorry - no photos yet. I will endeavour to post some up later on today to clarify.

Does anyone know what this connector is for?

cheers
mike

Don, many thanks, I am off to check this now........

EDIT: there is one 'spare' connector (white) with 2 connections from one black wire and one black with blue stripe wire. The other three are fitted as listed above (thanks again Don). There is nowhere for this conenctor to connect to. is it for testing or similar? It's only present on driver's side, not on passenger's.

cheers

The only connector I can find in the right area is a clear 4 pole connector with Black and a Black/Blue cables and that is the seat belt switch.

Thanks Don. Spare is 2 pole, so ???

No CEL, no obvious signs anything is 'wrong' per se, so no worries (for now!)

thanks again
