Hi folks! I’m a third time Subaru owner having just purchased my first Forester. Its a 2010 2.5X 5M with 109,000 miles. The shop where I purchased it from, being a Subaru specialist, had pulled the motor, replaced the head gaskets, resurfaced and vacuum tested the heads, replaced the water pump, timing kit, valve cover gaskets, and a laundry list of other seals, as well as, flushing all the fluids. It runs like a dream. The only thing I don't care for is the light interior but, sometimes buying used you just dont have the flexibility 😉
My goals with this little sweetie is to give her a slight, gravel road/winter driving makeover. It’s completely stock so, naturally, I’ll have to start with suspension and wheels. From there, I might look into some engine performance upgrades to give her a bit more punch in the push.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to this project amd I'm excited to see what everyone here is working on, as well.
