Hi!

Just getting around to posting my Journal

Here is my 2000 Subaru Forester. I bought it for a Daily Driver while im building my Twin Turbo SVX but I got bored and needed to do some things to it.

Here's a list of my mods so far:


Cusco Coilovers
WRX Shifter and linkage
Borla UEL headers
Changed out cloth skins for leather ones
Cleared the Corners
eBay special front and rear strut bars
JDM front grill (just got, needs to be painted)

The Parts I have to go on:

Delta 2000 Grind Cams
Magnaflow custom built 2.5" exhaust
18mm rear sway bar
2001 Hatch and tail lights
Hella Horns

What I will be doing over the next couple months:

Custom Intake (something never seen before in the subaru world , stay tuned)
Bigger throttle body
HID headlight kit
Yellow fogs
Paint (its MINT now but I either want to color match the bumpers and doors or change the color)
Build a front lip for it (hard to work with the weird angle of the bumper)
8pt cage
Bride front seats
4pot front brake conversion (have it on my self, just debating to put it on or not) with hawk HP plus pads and brembo blanks
Rear disc brake conversion
17x9" Rota grids or Miro 279 wheels (not sure what i want yet, wont be buying till summer anyway)

With these coilovers i can almost sit the forester on the ground but I scrape over even the slightest speed bumps now so I think I will leave it like this until the snow goes away.

And with the new grill (i know its not painted but i want to paint the car soon and I was so excited to put it on haha

Anyway, this is the first N/A subaru I have played with so hopefully it will be a little fun in the auto-xs this year


Im also thinking about black housing my head lights and corners (properly, ill still leave the reflective surface for the bulbs, like the 03+ ones)

Not to sure yet, I like a dark grey metallic, white, and OBP but I might just end up painting it single tone green

I'd really like to see an SF painted a grey color, it was never available from the factory and as far as I know no one has done it yet either.

The H6 swap wont come until the summer at least because i need it for a driver, too cold to walk the 15k to school haha

My car is registured in Nova Scotia because thats where im from, I just go to school in ontario, so i dont need to run a front plate

the two colors im looking at right now are

Slate Grey Metallic

And Atlas Grey Metallic

I have my JDM grill painted the stock green now.

I like the slate gray metallic. I think that would look fresh. :biggrin:
