The basics:
I inherited a Woodland Green, 2005 Forester X from my late grandmother. Once it was legally mine I jumped right into the mods.

Mods I have done so far:

• Added a CB radio: a Uniden Pro 520XL
• Made semi-successful efforts to reduce the wind noise issue.
• Painted the fading silver rims matte black
• Painted the tow hooks bright red
• Replaced the front struts and mounts with KYB Excel G struts (reused the springs)
• Installed a Primitive Offroad front skidplate

Mods I have lined up (waiting on parts):

• Replace rear struts with KYB Excel G
• Install Anderson Design & Fabrication 1" spacer lift

Mods I plan to do in the future:

• Replace rear bushings (I'm not sure exactly what they are called, but they are part of the rear suspension, near the diff)
• Better tires for off road driving. Looking at Yokohama Geolandar A/Ts
• Install ADF MOLLE Storage rack
