I got my hands on some used STi front seats and a bottom rear.

This should be more friendly when I add a harness. Plus, the the extra bolstering high and low will keep me from sliding around. The material is ultra suede, nice and grippy.

The other cool thing is I can now lower the driver's seat lower than the OE Forester driver's seat. Kinda like a co-driver in a WRC car. The adjustability is around 1.5 inches. All the way up is about stock Forester height. This should lower me(160 lbs) and my CG for race day.

BTW, if you haven't figured it out yet, STI rails are shorter than Forester rails and noticeably lighter.

The pass. seat needed to have the Forester rails swapped onto it. The OE STI pass. rail bolt pattern to the floor was different. Wonder why???

Pictures to follow.

What year STi? USDM? So you're saying the STi rails bolted in on the driver's side? Sounds like a easy bolt-in. One i've got to have!

How much did you get them for if you don't mind me asking?

I need to find out for sure.
I am pretty sure they are V7 USDM out of a ESX race car.
