I have a 2005 XT and I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust to the STI OEM one. Currently I have the stock exhaust on the car. I was planning on buying a complete STI catback, but I have found two mid pipes, that I have, and was wondering if these would be an improvement over the stock midpipe and just buy the STI axleback.

The two part numbers are:

PMSA1 - Bigger resonator
PMFE1 - Smaller resonator

The XT and STi midpipes are the same diameter, the only difference is that the XT pipe has a larger resonator. I personally stuck with the XT midpipe but switched to an STi axelback.

I would go this route^^

You can always go w/ the stromung 2.5" intermediate pipe if you want a little more sound...plus the SS is worth the slightly extra price ;)
