Umm...I wouldn't think you'd want to replace bones on your wife, but possibly other "upgrades"?? ;) ;)

Actually, she needs both hips done due to starting dancing so early at Marin Ballet, then touring to long. The rest of her bits are perfect. Well, maybe the duck walk could be fixed.

I used to mod horses... Turned a retired racehorse (American Standardbred Trotter) into a bomb-proof trail horse once. ;)

The XT is really the first car I've ever had the desire to modify. Tinkering isn't really in my nature; I like the results better than the process itself, so besides general maintenance I leave the tinkering to the pros.

my only really heavily modded car was my 95 mustang gt. it had it all, engine, suspension, cosmetics. it would run mid 11's in the 1/4 mile in the high one-teens on a 100 shot of nitrous. the 86 mustang gt i'm working on now will hopefully surpass that, but i'm more into modding my house now if you know what i mean.:)

I think the question is what I haven't modified. Let's see...

1976 Ford F150 (with my dad)
1970 Mustang (with my dad)
1972 Chevy Nova (race only, with my dad)
1987 Mustang GT
1986 Yamaha FZ600
1989 Kawasaki Ninja 600
1990 Kawasaki ZX-10
1993 Honda CBR900RR (street then race only)
1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe
1997 Suzuki Bandit 1200
1997 Honda VFR750
1998 Honda CBR1100XX
2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200S (bandits are cool)
1999 Suzuki SV650 (race only)
1998 Laverda Ghost Strike 668 (race only)
1997 Suzuki TL1000S (race only)
1986 Honda Aero 80 (yes, even mopeds are not safe)
1998 Kawasaki ZX9R (street then race only)
1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe (I like these cars)
2000 Yamaha YZF600 R6 (race only)
2003 Metrakit GP50r (definitely race only)
2002 Dodge Ram 3500 (dad's diesel)
1998 BMW 540i (mega $$ to mod)
2004 Nissan Titan
2006 FXT (current daily vehicle)
2001 KTM 400SX (current dirt bike)

And those are the vehicles I've either owned or were something I wrenched on an awful lot for a family member or a race team. I might be forgetting a few, though.
Multiply that list by about 4 or 5 times and that might be close to the vehicles I've helped modify in some way, shape, or form. I love to turn wrenches - must be why I have a mechanical engineering degree.
