Judging by the bhp per tonne figure these are estimated flywheel figures? if so how did marky9074 manage 400 on the same boost :icon_confused:

So that's over the 400/400 (flywheel) prediction then...?

Isn't that going to melt something :icon_frown:

It has confirmed that the MD321H (as recommended to me by the JGM recently) is the way to go though

Right where's me cheque book......

Quick Qu; where did the vehicle mass come from - estimated or measured...? If measured was that with someone in...?

It was measured on a weigh bridge if I remember correctly, though Zak has put on a couple of pounds since then...

Cheers.

VF41 is a useful Blower, the new one in a class of it's own.

So the 1690 was with human addition..? You got much crap in the back too...?
Just trying to get an idea of the actual standard weight of the FSTI which I always thought was around 1510kg, but that now seems too low.

You pleased with the figures...? What did you wind the boost back a bit and if so what did you settle on..?

I seem to remember that the FSTi kerb weight was 1500kg? That's what it says in the specs... two humans, one driving one tweaking....

Boost is the same, ignition is retarded a bit from what I remember, which did not add up, but the results speak for themselves..

Probably just run it in now!

Retarding the ignition at non det' limited signs can gain torque if its over advanced, also by avoiding creating knock, you can gain a bit on the bay (as the knock detect will often slightly over retard it) but will loose you power if you ever fill up with a more knock resistant fuel!

So are you keeping it at the 343 ATW, which by my loss figure calcs (1.27) works out around 435 ATF..? If so, isn't that above the supposed danger point for the rods or is it a risk worth taking ...?

No... with the VF41 it was 300whp equating to 340bhp so around 12% loss. This was proven on two independent dynos.

Original map on the MD321H was 340whp, but with new equal length headers and larger tmic and map tweap this is now 360whp at the same boost...
