Hi all, I am installing STi take-offs on my 2016 FXT. I have seen this done on here many times and have seen a few people running stock wheels/tires on this setup (even if just temporarily). I have all of it in but my problem is that I am getting some serious tire rub on the spring perch on the fronts struts (I circled the area of rubbing in red). I'm pretty novice at this stuff, could this just be a camber issue that I need to sort out? Should I not have believed the interwebs and now I should order some higher offset wheels and lower profile tires sooner than I wanted? Any help or insight is appreciated.

You have a few options.

1. Run less camber
a. Adjust factory camber bolts for more positive camber
b. Get Whiteline C tops to bring factory camber back into spec.

2. Run an aftermarket wheel with a lower offset. (pushes the wheels further outward)

3. Run a spacers, also pushes factory wheel outward for more clearance. Might need longer wheel studs

4. Run a smaller diameter tire. But will affect your speedometer. Causing your gauge speed to be faster than your actual speed.
