That looks mint Trev!
How many miles does it have?
Which agent did you use to import it?

It has a few scuffs on the bumpers and a wee bit of rust on one of the jacking points (someone else who didn't put the jack on right ), but is otherwise pretty good. Only 38,500 miles in 14 years, so hasn't been worked hard. I used Braveauto International who I used to import the FSTi 5 1/2 years back, good service as before, it's going to customs at the port tomorrow, hopefully will land in the UK early December. Things I'm thinking of modding are (in rough order)

Serious waxing underneath
7 1/2" rims + wider rubber - I have a set of V7 STi's, but am toying with going to 18's....
Whiteline ComC front top mounts
STi intercooler (thanks @Lockheed) + scoop
Sti drivers seat
Rear bumper protector thingy
Decent subwoofer as before

then a bit later hopefully:

bigger turbo - current thinking is a TD04-19T
full Prodrive exhaust (I just happen to have one sitting here ;))
316mm front discs + Legacy GT/2012 Foz calipers
remap - nothing too silly, I'm aware of the power limitations of the 5 speed box

All thoughts/comments welcome!

PS As old Ken at the village garage has always referred to the FSTi as the "Blue Pig", I think this will be the "Grey Goose"

Fit a ppg gear kit to your five speed.
Benifits are lighter gear box that takes more power.
I think its well worth investigating.

I. E whats the kerb weight of your sti versus the Cross sport.

I would love to, but they don't look cheap!! ... but there's a few other people that do upgrades like MRT and Kotouc, might be worth investigating, thanks for the thought. I guess the weight difference will be about 30Kg - mostly the gearbox, but I guess the 2.5 engine is a wee bit heavier too. Maybe Don KOPD has a brochure giving the exact weights?

I might be wrong but I understood the PPG kits involved straight cut gears that make it sound like a rally car ?

When I looked at their website I could see both straight and helical cut sets - both were "dog-box" though. Woof.
Looking again, they also do a set with syncro - but that is straight cut.
