I just got my 2019 Sport yesterday. Putting a coast of Klasse sealant on it (love the stuff by the way - makes super easy clean up of debris and bird poop).
Noticed the gas cap lid comes open pretty easy. My 2013 outback had a door release. I still remember 30 years ago some idiot pouring sugar down my gas tank in Laredo the day I was leaving for Virginia. I went through a lot of fuel filters on that trip until I could get the truck to a shop.
Anyhow, has anyone found a good locking gas cap that will seal well and not set off any check engine lights?
