Well, like the title reads, I'm looking at getting a Subaru. I have always liked them and been close to owning one a couple times. Just never sealed the deal on one. However, now I've started mulling over the purchase of a new used vehicle. I currently drive a 94 Honda Accord and have modified it maturely and tastefully, but its 16 years old now and while my Honda has many years left in it. It would be nice to own a newer vehicle.
That being said, I really like the Foresters, and more specifically a 2004 Forester XT. So, is there something to look for in them? How many thousands of miles are they good for? What can I expect out of one. I have done some research and know that for about a grand in parts, I have a car that has more horsepower than an Sti and the Forester is 15lbs lighter
I know some things that I want in one, I would like the 5sp, navigation isn't necessary but would be nice, same with panoramic moonroof. I don't need leather, but also is a plus. Really, I want a 5speed XT with less than 75k on it.
Am I asking too much?
So, hi to everyone and I look forward to joining the Forester family. I found one that fits most of my wants, however, its 500 miles away
we'll see though
I'm now going to go read the thread about questions regarding buying a forester!!!!
:woohoo:
