With my newly 'adopted' '05 Forester 2.5X I have 2 immediate simple issues:
1) Rear wiper replacement. the arm is wider than the opening in the replacement RainX Weatherbeater blade frame. The blade I removed (but saved) has no identifying marks or scars, so I am puzzled. RainX claims it's 16" blade should fit the car.

2) My '03 Legacy wagon blinks its lights to indicate the gizmo fob has locked or unlocked the doors (I believe most cars do). My '05 Forester does not. Is this normal or a known issue?

I have answered my #1 question by - Reading the Manual! Whoddathunk? Replace rear wiper with blade only... kinda weird, tho, isn't it?
