ok it looks like and I believe I have heard that when you lift a forester it moves teh position of teh rear wheels forward slightly .... is this correct?

is it with a block lift ... a spring lift ... or any lift ?


is there a way to counter act the shift forward ?

Megan Racing makes adjustable trailing links. You COULD use those, extend them, and be good to go.

Be careful, though. If you push the wheel back, it'll swing wide as you compress the suspension. Make sure you have enough clearance behind the tire.

This is the spacer I made for the front of the trailing arms.

Installed.

This re-centers the wheel and doesn't push the wheel back under compression.

so if I am doing king springs and the subtle lift blocks - these would be needed if I am running 65 series tires ?

Sorry guys,no drawings of this,made it on the fly.

But here's what to do..........

Take one of the mounts loose from the body and the trailing arm.
Make 2 smaller one hole blocks and 2 larger 2 hole blocks of equal thickness of your lift.
(make the holes in the 2 hole blocks match the holes in the mount)
Bolt then to the mount,notice they are on slightly different levels?
Make a piece to fit and weld between them while bolted to the mount.
Paint and install.
