Ditch the CAI. They specifically designed the map for stock. That stock intake is fine for stage 1 and 2. There are plenty of other places to find power before having to resort to the intake, sell it and get to stage 2. Upgrade the intercooler. Worry about the intake once you start planning on upgrading the turbo, it's a waste and will only cause prblems on your current setup.
The intake is not the problem, a vacuum leak or a bad sensor (I'd be targeting the front o2 first) is. If he hadn't mentioned the CAI, you guys wouldn't have jumped to that conclusion.

^^This. BTW, the 65mm APS CAI is one of the best intakes on the market.
+1

Running a 65mm CAI, of any kind, isn't going to cause you tune issues on a stock MAF cal. You probably have a loose hose clamp or something like that. Post up a log of your AFR trims, and your AFR's.

True, but he had the CAI before going stage 1 with no problems and the lean code didn't pop up until he flashed stage 1. Easy way to check. Clear the code, flash back to stock and drive around and see if the code comes back.

As far as the intake, I know it's great, I just think the money is better spent in other places first.
This would tell me its the flash...
