Yes, please confirm the APS was not installed at the same time as the Cobb AP. If yes, then I would throw money in on Scott's assessment.
If not, then something is odd w/ the flash. But I'm really surprised. I've fiddled w/ the Cobb Stage 1 a little, and nothing seemed too odd that would create that affect.
